'MAX'
Max is an 13 year old 16.2 hand, bay thoroughbred gelding. I bought Max
in September 2008.Max had been raced before I got him and had been very
successful. Since Max has been here at Abbeywood, he has been re mouthed
and has been put back through his paces in his ground work. He is a
different horse; he now is working very nice and collected in all his
paces. He will continue his career here as our hack/dressage horse. Max
is such a smooch and always wants to help, whether it be, helping clean
the stables,pulling the rake out of your hand, hanging out the washing,
walking underneath the nice clean clothes,washing the other horses,
getting in front of the hose instead of the horse you are trying to
wash!or just general farm work, Max always lends a helping hoof!
